2006: THE YEAR OF
TIME-OUT-OF-TIME
THE CENTER POINT OF THE SHIFT

This is a topic I have been slow to speak of, as I only had a nebulous sense of something being different about this year. I didn't think to ask Spirit for clarity about this sensing until a couple of months into the year, and the balance of this insight didn't come in until just last month.

In January of this year, I found myself writing '2007',
not '2006'. Usually when I make the year mistake, it's about continuing to write the year past, never the year to come. This happened often enough for me to begin to wonder what was going on. I also had been feeling the coming of the energy of wondrous change, and had the sense that the time of trial and tribulation I had been moving through was coming to an end. Since I was under the impression that this was a personal shift, I didn't take the time to inquire as to whether this energy had broader implications.

During February and into March, as I exchanged updates with others about what was happening in our respective lives, I began to get the inkling that what was happening was the result of some incoming universal energies, not just an individual shifting of my experience.

Have you been feeling that there is something different about this year? Have you been through some major changes in the last few months?
Do you feel a nagging sense of discontent about how things are in your life now? All of these things are indicators that you are being affected by the energies of this year that is time-out-of-time. Some other signs are: Insomnia, unidentifiable body aches and pains, generalized anxiety, shortness of temper, irritability, hypersensitivity, feeling like you are not yourself these days, discontent and in some cases, deep depression.

What follows is the condensed version of what Spirit had to say to me about this year of 2006:

Look at the cycle of transition currently unfolding. This cycle began in the year 2000, and will continue until the year 2012. Count now the years from 2000-2005. (There are six of them). Count as well the years from 2007-2012. (There are six of them). 2006 is thus the year that is out-of-time. It contains the closing energies of what was, and the beginnings of the energies of what is to come.

Many of us experienced some extreme challenges towards the end of 2005, and some thought things couldn't get any darker or more difficult. Then long about late March into early April, things began to lift, and the presence of the energy of what is to come was more easily perceived. There is a brilliant Light moving into the realm of our collective awareness. It is the energy of Change, of transformation. It will affect all of the sentient beings on this planet.

2006 is a time of true non-linearity, and for those who wish to walk into the next cycle, 2006 is a year of Choice. If you are ambiguous about your Spirit-path, it is time to declare your intent. We are being asked to choose. The actions we take (not just the words we speak) in this year will demonstrate clearly where we are in our consciousness, and (my perspective) will determine how our lives will unfold in the years to come.

The most significant date in the year of 2006 is 06-06-06, almost the exact midpoint not only of this year, but also of the greater 13-year cycle of transition as well. Since I am acutely aware that much of what we are guided by our Spirit to do has tremendous symbolic significance on the other side of the veil, I would encourage you to take whatever action you are guided to in order to demonstrate your intent.

There is one other item I would like to share this time: I have been doing some extensive gridwork since my awakening in early 1990. I recently made a third trip to Nashville, TN. I was surprised when Spirit asked me to travel there for the first time last year, as I'd been given explicit guidance shortly after my 'activation' that I was to stay East of the Rockies and West of the Mississippi. On this last trip to Nashville, events arranged themselves to reveal to me that the gridwork I'd been working on for almost 20 years was complete, and that the final work that was done in Nashville indicated that the part of the system that I was working on was ready for the infusion of the energies when the time arrives. A couple of days later, I was told by Spirit that there is now enough of the Global Grid completed (or it will be by the end of this year) that the planetary Ascension process can begin in earnest. I am not presuming to proclaim that the Work is done. (Indeed, I am preparing for a trip to the West Coast that will include some adjustments and small
additions to the system I have been working on.) I am passing on the information that, from the point of view of the Higher realms, there is now enough of the global grid in place to allow the Ascension process to move forward on schedule. Granted, the more of the grid we can complete or activate, the easier the process will be. The important point is to know that there is no longer a question as to WHETHER the planetary Ascension process can be achieved.
